CONCEPT:
This 1899 brownstone renovation includes professionally restored original mahogany woodwork throughout, complimenting the high-brow transitional aesthetic of the project. The kitchen, with its Opera D’arte marble waterfall island, provides a striking juxtaposition to the adjacent stained glass pocket doors. The new jack and jill bathroom on the garden level brings in gold-toned plumbing fixtures, an 8 ft soaking tub, and delicate deep emerald mosaic tiles. Thoughtfully sourced and antique lighting elevate the space while paying homage to the home’s historical past. Finally, the addition of a deck off the kitchen allows for seamless indoor/outdoor entertaining.
